I'm Alone

I'm alone. 
When I'm alone, 
I think about You. 
I feel secure 
because I know You are with me. 
You won't hurt me. 
You love me.

I'm alone. 
When I'm alone, 
I can do whatever I want. 
No one can take my time, 
No one can ever break me 
Like before.

I'm alone. 
When I'm alone, 
I can read, 
I can write, 
I can eat, 
I can sleep. 
I can do whatever I want. 
No one can bother me, 
No one can torture me, 
No one can scold me 
Like before.

I'm alone. 
When I'm alone, 
I try to be my old self. 
I can be myself again, 
Who was kind, 
Who was happy, 
Who had a soft heart, 
Who was selfless, 
Who was independent.

I'm alone, 
And still alone. 
But then he came, 
Unexpectedly, 
And knocked on my heart's door. 
But I still can't open it. 
I just see him through the window. 
Yes, I'm still afraid, 
I'm still traumatized, 
I'm confused.

Oh Allah, please help me. 
Who is he? 
Did You send him to me? 
I don't want to leave You, 
I don't want You to leave me. 
I'm afraid I will get busy with Your creation. 
But yes, I need somebody to talk to, 
I need somebody to laugh with, 
I need somebody to share my thoughts. 
I'm just human. 
But I'm afraid, 
If he makes me busy, 
What about Our time alone?
